SEND at St Michael’s

At St Michael’s, we believe every child deserves the best start. We are a fully inclusive school, committed to helping all pupils thrive through early identification, tailored support, and the removal of learning barriers.

Our dedicated Inclusion Team meets weekly to ensure every child receives the right support—academically, socially, and emotionally. Staff are trained in areas including autism, dyslexia, speech and language, sensory needs, mental health, and bereavement.

Our SENDCo, Mrs Sarah Swift, works closely with staff and families to plan and review personalised support. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers to set clear, achievable goals for each child.
