Following the launch of the Cornwall Virtual School Games sponsored by the University of Exeter in May, Active Cornwall are excited to release the registration process and the first two challenges for pupils to practice either at home or in School.
The Cornwall Virtual School Games will take place from 22nd-26th June where pupils will need to record their performances, but they can start to practice the challenges from today and look out for more challenges released through this week. The Monday will be athletics consisting of the long jump, speed bounce and a high jump. There will be gymnastics and tennis too.
We are encouraging as many of you as possible to get involved as you can earn points for your year group by representing the school.
The Cornwall Virtual School Games has been designed with wellbeing in mind. Children and young people are encouraged to think about how the activities they are taking part in support and promote one of the 5 ways to wellbeing.
For more information on any of this, please either go to the Active Cornwall website, or visit the Cornwall School Games Facebook page.
We hope you are staying safe and keeping active.
