Free School Meals

Helping Helston

There has been an amazing community response to the news that the government will not be funding free school meals over half term, with local businesses (Salt and Vinegar, Ann's Pasties) and the Central Methodist Church offering free meals. There is also a new group that has been set up by who are receiving donations of food, making up lunch boxes and organising deliveries to several locations.

The organiser have requested that parents send a message via the Helping Helston Facebook page to reserve a box, so that they have an idea of numbers. But we appreciate not everyone will want to do that. They have also requested that parents come with children if possible.
