Helston Community Blanket Project

Recently some children from St Michael's took part in the Helston Community Blanket Project to help create the school's contribution for a large community patchwork blanket.  The children chose to decorate each square with something that represented St Michael's – they created a Dragon and a Knight, lots of sporting activities, the different subjects that they learn, Lilly of the Valley along with the St Michael's Crest and hearts to show how kind and caring the school is! This will be used in the centre of the large community blanket.

If you are interested in seeing or contributing to the community blanket, a workshop event will take place on Sunday 30th July, 11am -2pm at Coronation Park.  From 2pm-4pm there will be a picnic. There are 200 ice cream vouchers to give away for the first 200 workshop participants!
