Our first match was against Trannack. Due to some confusion we played the first half with only 6 players (you are supposed to have 8) but won that half with tries from Kian Williamson and Thomas Booth. We conceded one try in the first half, meaning that at half time we led 2-1. In the second half we played our full 8 players and scored two more tries - a second from Kian and a debut try for Rupert Cox, who recieved an excellent pass from Thomas Booth. At full time, the score was 4-1 to St MIchael's.
Game two was against Wendron. Playing our full team, we scored a single try in the first half, courtesy of George Robinson-Masters weaving down the right hand side. In the second half Kian repeated this trick, ducking and dodging through many players to take us to 2-0. Thomas Booth then plucked the ball out of the air in an interception and raced down the pitch to score our third. Towards the end, a missed pass and a hand to the face distracted our players and Wendron scored a consolidation try. Full time: 3-1 to St Michael's.
A huge well done to all our players: Madison Baynham, Fenella Jones, Thomas Booth, Kian Williamson, George Robinson-Masters, Rupert Cox, Brooke Pascoe and Finley Wheelan.
