Last week was a very exciting week in school with the children engaging in lots of sporting activities at lunchtimes in recognition of Sport Relief. The week ended in fabulous style with the whole school completing the Daily Mile together, in the hope of accomplishing our Sport Relief challenge by clocking up enough miles to reach Africa. The children were all delighted when Miss Martin announced in our special assembly that we had indeed made it, what a feat! 4,500 miles walked or ran by both the children and staff in the last 3 weeks. We are so proud of all the children on this achievement and they were very proud of themselves.
We had a great day and our non-uniform day raised the sum of £536.80 for Sports Relief. Thank you for all your kind donations to support this great cause.
