Courageous Advocacy

Mrs Martin and the pupils of St. Michael's have been awarded The Eco Schools - Green Flag award! Children and staff have spent time, with Miss Glavin, in the school grounds and our local park, St George's, planting trees. being good stewards helps us to appreciate God's creation and the beautiful world we live in.
Years 5 & 6 have adopted three amazing orangutans, through the 'Borneo Orangutan Survival Organisation UK',  in memory of a pupil's beloved uncle. They are called, Kopral & Shelton (disabled orangutans who are best friends) and Jeni (a young, orphaned orangutan who is going through  the rehabilitation process before being released back into the wild). Looking after God's creatures is part of duty as good stewards.
